I must apologize, I did not keep my promise of posting daily while away on vacation. The moment we landed in Turkey everything became a bit of a world-wind. Touring the Haggai Sophia and Blue Mosque, hanging out in Taxis to enjoy a little hookah, visiting the Grand Bazaar, crossing over to the Asian side, shopping in Istanbul's LARGEST second hand clothing store (wait til you see THOSE pictures); My BFF & I were quite busy, thus making it extremely difficult to come back to the hotel and blog.In fact we came backed to the hotel each night had Happy Hour, and faced-timed with our other BFF who was in India for his job. #goodtimes It's amazing how fast the experience moved. Its was firmly established that we'd be back! This time focusing on other areas of the country such as Ephesus and Cappadocia where you can soar over the terrain in a hot air balloon!

Now I'm back in New York with the weekend to regroup. For now, I'll share a few photos I took and I am planning on doing a full-length post on the fabulous Marriott hotel in Istanbul where we stayed, the lovely staff at Turkish Airlines, the large population of stray animals, and annoyingly charming & handsome carpet sellers, I tried to create my own language to ignore them, fail. Right now though, I am just glad to be back home.
