Make Your Dreams Real

Investing in women owned businesses, forming political action committees, being mentors and more were some of the many topics discussed at the 2018 Women Grow Summit. I entered excited and left fullfilled and ready to take action to make lasting change.

This year I was with my EstroHaze business partners/friends. We broadcasted our podcast LIVE from the Women Grow Summit and I am still feeling and working through a range of emotions. The biggest of them all is gratitude. It's bigger than weed and I see it more and more everyday. It's about medicine, healing, social justice, empowerment, job creation, wealth building, legacy. To be a part of this movement is humbling. Had my co-founders and I not taken the step (left our jobs) and seized the opportunity presented to us --- we might still be disgruntled employees sitting on our talents, skills, and blessings that were waiting for us on the other side.

We met so many interesting people, like the folks behind Velvet Swing which makes a cannabis infused lubricant for women. We were given solid advice from our business advisors/mentors and had a fabulous event that our guests truly enjoyed (see 1st video)! It was a great reminder that we are on the right track and that there is more work ahead of us. It won't get easier by any means, but if any three women can do it, we can!

I am very excited for where things are heading! I also recently joined a social networking group. As the saying goes, your network is your networth and if I am going to have a few brownstones and a duplex in TriBeCa, along with putting a few thousands kids through college I must get my affairs in order. I am now a part of Ivy: The Social University. They have not only a range of curated social events and workshops but they also have a lot of volunteer opportunities and talks that I know could add value to my life. So...#levelup bitches!
